1.Network Requirements of NiteBird Smart Light
NiteBird smart lights only support 2.4Ghz WiFi.
If you are using a dual-band router. You can log in to the router's settings background to change the SSID of the two frequency bands, and separate the 2.4Ghz network from the 5Ghz network. You can also try to select the hotspot network configuration mode (AP mode) to connect, in this mode the device will automatically find 2.4 Ghz's network.

2.Can not connect to the app
1). Please make sure your WiFi is 2.4G and the signal is normal, the password is correct. If your router is dual-band ensure that both networks have different network names (SSID). The provider of your router /Internet service provider will be able to provide advice specific to your router.
2).Please note that before connecting, you need to adjust the light to flashing mode.
3).Make sure you have downloaded the GOSUND APP and finished the registration.
4).Make sure the light is close enough to your phone when you try to connect it.

3.Can not connect to Alexa or Google Home
a.Unable to connect to Google home:
1). Confirm that it can be controlled normally in Gosund APP? If not, restart the device and reconnect to the network;
2). Enter the main control interface of Gosund APP, click the icon in the upper right corner, and confirm whether the supported third-party control has Google Assistant. If yes, you can enter to view the detailed connection steps; if no, you need to contact the software department engineer to deal with it. You can also refer to the manual for specific steps. It should be noted that you need to accept the terms of service and privacy policy and allow access to the Google Home app. If you can't connect, you need to record the prompt information and give feedback.
b.Cannot connect to Alexa:
1). Confirm that it can be controlled normally in the Gosund application. If it does not work, restart the device and reconfigure the network connection.
2). Enter the main control interface of the Gosund application, click the pen icon in the upper right corner to confirm whether there is Alexa in the supported third-party controls. If yes, you can enter to view the detailed connection steps; if not, you need to contact the software department engineer to handle the connection steps. You can also refer to the manual for the connection steps. If you cannot connect, please record the prompt information and give feedback.
c.After connecting to Alexa, voice control is not possible:
1). Confirm whether Gosund can be controlled normally?
2). Confirm whether there is Gosund in Skills&Games-- Your Skills in the Alexa APP menu
3). Confirm whether there is a corresponding device name in Alexa APP---Devices----All Devices. If the connection is not successful, you can refer to the instructions to reconnect.
4). Confirm whether manual control is possible in Alexa APP---Devices----All Devices. If you cannot control it, open the Gosund app and restart the device and reconnect to the network.
5). Confirm whether the voice speaker can control other devices. Finally, try to change the device name, you need to change the name that is easy to identify (such as Smart plug); you can try to control the device by voice (such as Alexa, turn on/off smart plug)

4. How to Group-control the NiteBird products?
Open GOSUND, click Home, find the Device List, select the device you want to add to the Group. Then click Edit, find Create group control in Others.

5. How to get a good music sync effect?
There is a high sensitive mic built in the controller box. To achieve the best music sync effect, please make sure to put it as close as to the sound source.

6. What is the difference between Easy Mode and AP Mode?
Easy Mode(RecommendedThe device's light is rapidly blinking for easy, quick pairing setup.
AP Mode: Access Point mode is a secondary setup process in which the device's light is slowly blinking and requires multiple steps for pairing. Follow the on-screen step by step instructions.

7. How to restore factory setting?
Bulb:
Turn on-off-on-off-on-off-on the light, the bulb will flash quickly.
Then you turn on-off-on-off-on-off-on the light again, it will flash slowly.
Light strip:
Press the power button on the controller box for more than 6 seconds, the light will change between Quick Flash Mode and Slow Flash Mode.

8. How to set up with Siri?
1). Open the Gosund APP and make sure the light is connected to the APP.
2). Click Tap-to-Run., then click the symbol “+” in the upper right.
3). Select your scenes and device strip light, then select the command you need. For example: Turn On
4). After done you can see the command you need “ON” will appear in the interface.
5). Click “Add to Siri” in the lower right, then record your command. For example, you can say: “Open Light”
6). After done you can control the light strip via Siri. Say “Hi Siri, Open Light”, The light strip will be turned on.
